
Guðni Líndal Benediktsson graduated from the Icelandic Film School in 2012 and has since worked on the sets of feature films including Of Horses and Men (2013) and Thor 2: The Dark World (2013). He has also worked on a number of short films.
He is one of the founding members of the Icelandic production company Fenrir Films. His short film No homo (2012) was awarded Best Icelandic Short in the Reykjavik Shorts and Docs festival 2013. Later that year it featured in the Short Film Corner at Cannes Film Festival.
Guðni has written three children’s books, one of which won The Icelandic Children’s Book Award 2014. He was one of the story writers for the mobile video game Box Island (2015), designed to teach children the basics of programming.
