Waiting for the Tide, published in January 2015, includes selected work from the 2014 Orkney Writers’ Course which took place annually from 2011 as part of the St Magnus International Festival. Directed by Orkney-based writer Pamela Beasant with co-tutor, Shetland-based poet Jen Hadfield, the course was supported by the George Mackay Brown Fellowship.
